Home Events & Celebrations The Tower School celebrates Cultural Diversity Day
This Tuesday we celebrated Cultural Diversity Day. We marked this day to show our students the importance of understanding different cultural backgrounds and that we are all unique. Martello students worked with staff to prepare some food to share with staff and students at lunchtime. This was enjoyed by all.
The Tower School hosted their own world cup in the MUGA during lunchtime which continued into the afternoon. A big thank you to the staff for facilitating this, the students had a fantastic time.
Meanwhile in the hall, we listened to an array of cultural music, exploring many different activities to celebrate the wonderful type of cultures we have in our school community. Our music teacher also showed us how to dance authentically to Turkish music and play African drums.
Martello form pupils made Arancini, Korean chicken and meatballs. Students also experienced making origami dogs with help from our post 16 students.
